Our Annual Recognition Banquet is an opportunity to acknowledge our Great Oak family and to thank our entire community. Great Oak has been a part of the Fayetteville community for 10 years and its our honor to provide a service we feel is greatly needed.
Great Oak Youth Development Centers, Inc. (Great Oak) was recently selected by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation to participate in a leadership development program called the Nonprofit Leadership Academy (“the Academy”).
Great Oak Youth Development Centers has earned the “Partner in Prevention” designation, recognizing its commitment to ending child sexual abuse. The national designation is awarded to organizations that commit to protecting children by educating more than 90-percent of their staff and volunteers, using the Darkness to Light Stewards of Children curriculum, on how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

In November of 2016, Great Oak was the recipient of a $1000 AT&T grant in recognition of the work it does in the Fayetteville Metropolitan are. Great Oak is all about growing the future of young boys through our mentoring programs.
