How You Can Help

Great Oak is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit. We rely on donations for a substational portion of our funding to run our program. Every aspect of the services we provide to students is free. Our program expenses range from facility and materials for Leadership Academy to transportation for students as part of our cultural awareness activities. Every donation for Great Oak will make a difference in assisting in building lasting foundations for our youth.

Great Oak Needs List

1. Perimiter security fence for Great Oak Headquarters (city requirement). Cost: $3,700 ($2,200 for materials, $1,500 for labor).

2. Exterior paint job. Cost: $1,500.

3. Mobile TV stand with heavy equipment straps and surge protector. Cost $1,100.00

   Lunch for each of 8 sessions of the Men and Boys Unity Program. These sessions are held one Saturday morning every month January thru May and September thru November. Cost: $125.00 for each session

5. Dinner/materials for each quarterly Parental Involvement meeting. Cost: $250.00 each quarter

6. Media Projector. Cost range for mainstream level - $799.00 to $1099.00
