Summary of Accomplishments

Great Oak recently had their third Leadership and Entrepreneurs Camp held on June 15, 2009 and finishing with a showcase on June 26th.  The mission of the camp was to teach youth successful teamwork, respect for themselves and others, and bringing about positive self-image.  Sixteen boys were in the two-week camp learning about business and leadership through seminars and field trips in both Fayetteville and Raleigh.  The final day consisted of a showcase in which the boys presented their business plans and other service projects to not only their parents, but important city leaders including the mayor of Fayetteville.  Expect greater things for the next year's camp.
